Facing reality

It is a little shocking to the echo when  what I thought would have impact turned out to be almost a failure. The disappointment is kind of hard to bear. In a way, it has been a good lesson. It has reminded me of the peril to assume too much. Back to the drawing board!

Similar or different?

It is half full or it is half empty depends on what we want to emphasize.

I miss going on a holiday! I can't complain that I am over wroked. In fact, lately, my work is so light that it is like a holiday. Just that when you are on a holiday, your mind will behave differently. It goes on holiday too!

It was the cake I got from grandson last year. A year has gone by so fast. Just hope the past year had made me wiser and better as a person.
